'The idea comes for free': the creative process of Rosely Corbellini Indalêncio

Abstract

Rosely Corbellini Indalêncio is a Brazilian painter with decades of experience. She studied Fine Arts at the Faculdade de Educação Musical do Paraná. Since 1997, the visual artist has been exhibiting her beautiful canvases at the weekly fair held on Saturday and Sunday mornings at the Centro de Convivência Cultural square, in the city of Campinas, São Paulo. The present article aims to describe her creative process, which involves selecting an initial theme, however, it presents minimal prior planning, developing and enriching the work through the experience gained in the very act of creation. The casual stimuli that arise from the paint application evoke mental images and thoughts that evolve into new intentional objectives, subsequently expressed by the artist. In this article, the result of an interview, it is possible to learn the details of her method for flourishing Art.
