Abstract

The rise of inorganic networks and artificial intelligence presents unprecedented ethical, political, and epistemological dilemmas. In Nexus (2023), Yuval Noah Harari identifies the risk of intelligent systems that can process information and make decisions without consciousness, that threatens the integrity of human life and democratic institutions. In this context, ArtScience—a concept that seeks to integrate art and science to promote the popularization of knowledge—emerges as a humanizing counterpoint. This article analyzes Harari's view on intelligence without consciousness, presents CienciArte and the ArtScience Manifesto as theoretical foundations, and proposes that the re-humanization of knowledge is an essential path to face the challenges of the 21st century.
