This study aimed to address various questions regarding the adaptation of Centennials (born from 1995 onwards) to telecommuting. Initially, a review was conducted on this generation to understand its main characteristics and gather information about the adoption of telecommuting. It involved a survey responded to by 74 Centennials. The study showed that only 28% claimed that their productivity improved while working remotely and that telecommuting holds value among Centennials, providing them with autonomy and free time. It is concluded that a generation is merely a generalization, and organizations will need to make an effort to better understand this generation to enhance productivity. The limitation of the study lies in the small number of respondents and the homogeneity of the sample; however, this does not invalidate the results and suggests the need for further studies to better understand this generation.
