Abstract

Creativity is a phenomenon that many experts consider essential for the 21st century. Therefore, this article seeks to emphasize the importance of creativity in the teaching of gifted people, as well as the need for educational practices for this attribute to be developed. In addition to creative activities, it is also essential to consider a teaching approach that includes motivational, personal, social and emotional aspects linked to creativity. It is reinforced that the knowledge baggage in the gifted area of interest is essential for these students to be able to produce their inventions and creations. In this sense, there is an urgent need for teacher training to provide gifted students with creative and innovative classes.
