The identification of gifted students of the productive-creative type is difficult due to the few instruments that investigate aspects of their condition. This study aimed to verify among a group of high school students those with and without indicators of giftedness, as well as their creative personality, from self-assessment instruments. 53 public school students with an average of 15.8 years old participated. The Questionnaire for Identifying of giftedness Indicators - Student and the Creative Personality Scale were used. The analysis of the data resulted from the grouping by the non-hierarchical method of the k-means. The results show that cluster 2 aggregates giftedness indicators students and cluster 3 to those without indicators and with creative personality, however, the N of cluster 3 seems overestimated. It is considered that self-assessment instruments can be effective when used as complementary in a multimodal assessment.
