The use of ict's and children's creativity: perceptions of parents and teachers

This study aimed to investigate the perception of parents and teachers about the use of ICTs and creativity. The research was divided into Study 1 and 2, with 14 participants being parents and six teachers. A sociodemographic essay and the use of ICT's, climate for creativity in the classroom and the Creative Parenting Styles Scale (CPS) were applied. Descriptive analysis allowed both to perceive ICTs as effective, with support, appreciation of children's production and emotional support important aspects for creative expression. Difficulty in appropriating children's tools and personal skills shown to be restricted. Regarding EPC, the low score in Punitive Control and high score in Emotional Support and Originality reflect the exercise of flexible parenting and the stimulation of creativity. Finally, the data must be understood with caution and studies with larger samples and comparative analyzes are indicated.
